Tighwad Red® is the first true dwarf Crapemyrtle with currant red flowers. It branches vigorously, creating a low mound reminiscent of a dwarf yaupon holly. This carefree variety is one of Dr. Carl Whitcomb's highly-regarded 'Whit' series - very mildew resistant, blooms profusely and features outstanding flower color.
